Play’n’Learn refreshed Te Kōhanga Reo o Nga Pihi O Te Purapura Pai with custom furniture, defined learning zones, and culturally aligned design elements to improve flow, supervision, and tamariki-led exploration.
Te Kōhanga Reo o Whakaari
Te Kōhanga Reo o Whakaari engaged Play’n’Learn to refresh their outdoor environment using EverPlay moveable play, creating a flexible space that supports child-led outdoor play across teina and tuakana without relying on a fixed playground structure.
A custom EverPlay configuration now forms the backbone of the space, using play boxes, ramps, bridges, and slides to enable progressive physical challenge and varied daily layouts.
Because the system is moveable, kaiako can easily reconfigure the setup to support mixed-age interaction, tuakana–teina play, and a balance of climbing, crawling, balancing, and risk assessment.
