Avalon Kindergarten
Avalon Kindergarten is part of the Hutt Valley Kindergarten Association. Avalon Kindergarten offers an all-day, all-year service for 2-5 year old tamariki. This project was an exciting challenge for the Play’n’Learn design team as the service combines kindergarten teaching philosophy, with all-day care and the additional requirements that come with longer sessions.
The environment is natural and open and full of natural light. Our high-quality European Birch Plywood furniture perfectly complements this natural aesthetic.
Of great importance to Avalon Kindergarten, was creating a welcoming space for tamariki and whanau of all cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Many of the furniture pieces have been customised and modified to include subtle Pasifika and Maori patterns to ensure the furniture represents Avalon Kindergartens’ diverse community.
