Inspired Aotearoa Learning Village
Play’n’Learn, had the privilege of providing a complete interior fitout for Inspired Aotearoa Early Learning Village. In this project, we facilitated an environment that not only meets Inspired Aotearoa’s precise requirements but also aligns with our commitment to fostering open-ended play and learning. The result is a beautiful Early Learning Village that truly reflects Inspired Aotearoa’s values and commitment to quality education and care. Play’n’Learn’s scope of works in this centre was:
Joinery
Our skilled team took charge of the manufacturing, project management, and installation of all the joinery work for the project. This encompassed the construction of kitchens, washroom hubs, bathroom joinery (including toilet partitions), classrooms’ art sinks and handwashing stations, and the laundry area.
Fixed Furniture
Understanding the specific requirements of Inspired Aotearoa, we designed and manufactured custom dividers and gates. These were meticulously crafted to provide functional division within the large open classrooms, while also adhering to the centre’s unique aesthetic preferences. The brief called for an antique, retro, ‘grandparents-home’ vibe, which made material selection and coating a crucial part of the process. Play’n’Learn retro furniture was then paired with upcycled furniture from antique stores around Auckland.
Moveable/Modular Furniture
We designed and manufactured child-sized, child-safe, and child-engaging moveable furniture, aligning perfectly with Inspired Aotearoa’s vision of creating a conducive learning environment for children.
Learning Resources
