Overhead Bars

The Overhead Bars are a versatile and essential attachment for any preschool outdoor play area. Designed for toddlers and preschoolers, they enable a variety of activities such as swinging, hanging upside down, and climbing, promoting strength, coordination, and essential sensory development.

Features

• Flexible Height Transitions: Utilises the QuickClip system for easy height changes between 28cm, 58cm, and 88cm EverPlay Boxes or between boxes and the ground. Not to be used with 118cm high EverPlay Boxes, per playground standards max height limits.
• Lightweight and Easy to Adjust: A single teacher can easily move and reattach the bars, making it simple to reconfigure play setups.
• Promotes School-Readiness Skills: Builds upper body strength and gross motor skills, forming the foundation for fine motor skills like handwriting.
• Sensory Development: Activities like swinging and turning develop kinaesthetic awareness, proprioception, and vestibular senses, crucial for spatial awareness, balance, and coordination.
• Lightweight Construction: Made from powder-coated aluminium, the overhead bars are very light and easy for one teacher to move around/change.

Maintenance

• Powder-Coated Aluminium Frame: Finished in a textured black matte for durability. Minor scratches from storage or abrasive surfaces do not impact functionality or safety.

Size

• 1.8m length x 0.6m wide
• Overhead bars extend 0.6m above an EverPlay box if connected.
  • i.e. an overhead bar connected to a 58cm EverPlay box, means the rungs are 1.18m from the ground.
