Create, connect, balance and collaborate with the Natural Block & Planks Set.

This versatile 25-piece set allows tamariki to build obstacle courses, pathways, bridges, platforms and imaginative play environments. Children can arrange the planks and assorted blocks around the storage box, supporting balance, coordination, spatial awareness, problem-solving and teamwork.

The storage box is also part of the play system, with openings that allow the planks to be incorporated into different configurations.

Materials and finish

Constructed from a combination of timber and marine-grade plywood.

This product is supplied as raw, uncoated timber. No stain, oil, paint or protective surface coating is applied during manufacture. Natural differences in grain, colour and appearance are expected.

Customers who choose to apply a stain, oil or protective coating are responsible for selecting a product suitable for the timber, marine-grade plywood and intended environment. The coating manufacturer’s preparation, application, drying and maintenance instructions must be followed.

Please note that applying a coating will change the product’s colour and appearance.

Use and care

Suitable for supervised indoor and outdoor play. As this product is supplied raw and uncoated, it should not be left permanently exposed to rain, standing water or prolonged damp conditions.

• Store the set in a dry, sheltered and well-ventilated location when not in use.
• Allow wet pieces to dry fully before storage.
• Do not wrap or store the timber under plastic.
• Inspect every component regularly and before use.
• Check for splinters, cracks, splitting, delamination, sharp edges, damaged surfaces and loose fixings.
• Lightly sand developing rough areas using appropriate timber sandpaper.
• Immediately remove any unsafe or significantly damaged component from use.
• If applying a coating, test it on a small inconspicuous area first and ensure all faces and exposed edges are treated as directed by the coating manufacturer.

Marine-grade plywood is manufactured for improved moisture resistance but is not waterproof or maintenance-free.
