Commonly asked questions about EverPlay
Q: How is EverPlay delivered, and does it need assembly?
No assembly is required. Every EverPlay item is made to order in our Wellington factory and arrives ready to use. Where possible, we use furniture movers who carry the equipment directly into your playground. In regions where this service isn’t available, your order will arrive securely packed on a large pallet via a tail-lift truck. The pallet can be placed in a convenient spot, such as your car park, for you to unpack when it suits.
Q: Can I use EverPlay with equipment from other suppliers?
Yes, you can use EverPlay with equipment from other brands. The Playbox itself will still be compliant, but once you connect non-EverPlay attachments, the responsibility for compliance shifts to your centre. This means you’ll need to ensure the attachments are safe, compliant, and connected securely. For the simplest approach, and to keep full certification, we recommend using EverPlay components together with our QuickClip system.
Q: What is EverPlay made from, and how does it last?
EverPlay is built from three high-performance materials chosen for safety, durability, and sustainability:
- Aluminium Frames: Structural-grade aluminium makes each piece lightweight, rust-proof, and easy for teachers to move.
- EnduraPanel: A rubberised composite panel with at least 50% pre-recycled content. It’s tough, non-slip, and designed to handle heavy outdoor use while keeping tamariki safe.
- Stainless Steel-Cored Rope: UV-stabilised polyester braid for grip and comfort, reinforced with a stainless steel wire core for strength and cut resistance.
Q: How often should I repaint my EverPlay equipment?
Never. EverPlay doesn’t require repainting because its materials are engineered to withstand outdoor use without fading, rusting, or peeling. This makes EverPlay the lowest-maintenance outdoor moveable play system available.
Q: What age groups can use EverPlay?
EverPlay is designed to grow with children. Because the attachments can be height-adjusted, the same set can be tailored to suit different ages and stages. For younger toddlers, attachments can be set lower and flatter to build confidence and safety. As children get older and more capable, the same pieces can be reconfigured to create steeper climbs, higher challenges, and more engaging play for preschoolers. This flexibility means your EverPlay set stays relevant year after year, adapting to the developmental needs of every group of tamariki.

Hanna-Jane –
We’ve had a fantastic experience with our new EverPlay moveable playground equipment. It has been a huge hit with our tamariki and a much-loved addition to our outdoor space.
One of the standout features for our teaching team has been the interchangeable design, the variety we can create from one set is incredible. It allows us to adapt the setup regularly, keeping things exciting for the children, and catering to a range of abilities and interests.
The materials are excellent. Lightweight enough to move and reconfigure easily, yet sturdy and durable. We are very happy with the non-slip surface. It feels like an investment that will support our learners for years to come.
The colour and design are also a big plus. Visually appealing and engaging, while still functional. It is providing our tamariki with gross motor development opportunities which is exactly what we were looking for.
Most importantly, the tamariki absolutely love it. It has quickly become a highlight of our playground, and it’s something they often talk about at home.
Thank you to the Play ‘n’ Learn team for helping us curate a playground that works for us and supports learning, movement, and play
