Light also provides huge potential for children to be able to manipulate and view the world they inhabit in a variety of different ways. Shining light onto an object can completely change how it looks. Shining a light through it can change its colour. Shining a light at it can create a shadow that can be tiny or huge, the possibilities are endless.
