A calmer space. A fresh new look. Installed with minimal disruption.
Play’n’Learn supplies and installs modern acoustic wall panels that help transform busy early learning environments into calmer, more inviting spaces for tamariki and kaiako.
With a wide range of modern colours and finishes, custom shapes and cut-out designs available, we use acoustic treatment as part of the overall look and feel of your centre, rather than simply covering walls with standard acoustic material.
Older wall coverings become stained, marked and dated over time. Replacing or overlaying them with new acoustic panels is one of the quickest ways to lift a room without a major renovation.
A space that looks better, feels calmer and works better for everyday learning.

Sleep room, full wall coverage with a green tree and bird cut-out.
A plain wall turned into a paw print feature wall, cut from acoustic panel in the centre’s own colours.
Panels wrapping the main wall and doorway, softening the noise where the youngest children play and rest.
Early learning environments are busy places. Conversations, play, furniture and hard surfaces all contribute to the noise within a room. Our aim is to create environments where sound is better controlled and the room feels more settled.
We have been installing acoustic treatments in ECE environments for years. Feedback from kaiako has been particularly encouraging. Teams tell us they’ve noticed tamariki becoming more relaxed and engaged following acoustic improvements to their learning spaces.
Acoustic treatment can become part of your centre’s interior design, and part of the way the room is used.
Trees, birds, footprints, mountains, koru: shapes that mean something to your centre, cut into the panel itself.
Use colour and shape to mark out a book corner, a calm space or a mat area without adding furniture.
A considered wall becomes the anchor of the room: colour, shape and layout working together rather than a flat expanse of one tone.
From subtle natural tones through to stronger feature colours, chosen to complement your existing furniture and flooring.
Rather than treating every wall the same, we combine complementary colours, shapes and layouts to suit the environment you already have.

Closing learning spaces for building work isn’t always practical. Our team can complete work outside your normal operating hours wherever possible, so you can improve your environment without unnecessarily disrupting tamariki, whānau or your teaching programme.
Usually not. We can work after hours or stage the installation room by room, so most jobs are completed around your programme rather than instead of it.
Often yes. It depends on the condition and construction of the existing surface, so we assess this on site before recommending an approach.
It depends on how much wall area is being covered and the complexity of any custom shapes. We’ll give you an indicative timeframe with your quote, before anything is booked in.
Yes, colours, panel layouts and custom cut-outs are all part of the design conversation. We’ll work with the furniture, flooring and light you already have in the room.
We install for centres across New Zealand. Let us know where you are and we’ll confirm what’s involved for your location.
Send us photos of your rooms and rough dimensions and we’ll come back to you with options. Every centre is different, so every job is quoted individually.
Send us a few photos of your existing rooms and our team can talk through what’s possible: colour options, panel layouts, custom features and installation.
